Consolidated revenue from operations climbed 28% to ₹58,187.57 crore, up from ₹45,529.19 crore a year earlier. Profit before tax for the period stood at ₹7,628.09 crore, while total comprehensive income attributable to owners came in at ₹5,512.16 crore. On a standalone basis, the company reported total income from operations of ₹41,958.76 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Group CEO and Managing Director Anish Shah described it as a strong start to the financial year despite challenging conditions. The automobile and farm equipment businesses together posted an 18% rise in combined profit, while the services businesses, including Mahindra Finance and Tech Mahindra, delivered an impressive 80% jump in consolidated PAT to ₹1,805 crore.

Segment-Wise Financial Performance

Domestic SUV sales reached 1,74,745 units in the quarter, marking a healthy 15% year-on-year increase, while tractor volumes surged around 18% YoY to 1,52,426 units, comfortably beating the company’s own mid-single-digit industry growth guidance. Improved rabi cash flows, a 19% rise in wheat procurement, better rainfall, and stronger government rural spending supported farm equipment demand.

Mahindra Finance’s assets under management grew 13%, and M&M’s share of its profit rose 78%. Tech Mahindra also contributed positively through margin expansion. Looking ahead, management retained its FY27 tractor industry growth forecast at around 5%, citing a high base effect and El Niño-related uncertainty, while guiding for mid-to-high-teen SUV volume growth and roughly 10% growth in the LCV business.
