Nestle India Q1 FY27 results

FMCG giant Nestle India has posted a strong start to FY27, reporting robust growth across revenue, profit, and margins for the April-June quarter. The Nestle India Q1 FY27 results reflect healthy consumer demand, expanding rural reach, and disciplined cost management, making this quarter one of the company’s standout performances in recent years.

Revenue and Profit Performance

Nestle India announced its Nestle India Q1 FY27 results on July 22, 2026, delivering impressive numbers across the board. Revenue from operations climbed 25.16% year-on-year to ₹6,378.18 crore, up from ₹5,096.16 crore in Q1 FY26. However, revenue declined 5.48% sequentially from ₹6,747.79 crore reported in Q4 FY26, reflecting a natural seasonal moderation after a strong March quarter.

Net profit surged 48.27% YoY to reach ₹975 crore, compared to ₹659.23 crore in the same period last year. This sharp jump in profitability was driven largely by strong volume growth and better operational efficiency, even as the company continued to invest heavily in brand building.

EBITDA Margin and Operating Performance

Operating profit, or EBITDA, rose 39.82% YoY to ₹1,538.13 crore, up from ₹1,100.13 crore in Q1 FY26. The EBITDA margin expanded to 24.12%, compared to 21.59% a year earlier, though it moderated from 26.25% in Q4 FY26 due to seasonal cost pressures.

Chairman and Managing Director Manish Tiwary highlighted that all four product groups delivered strong double-digit growth, with rural markets leading momentum through expanded distribution touchpoints. Exports also grew impressively by 35.6% YoY despite ongoing geopolitical headwinds, while advertising spends rose over 40% as the company doubled down on brand investment.
